The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said: Thou art but one of the bewitched; 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 So cause a fragment of the sky to fall on us, if you are truthful." 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
