The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
