The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
