The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ “Measure in full, and do not be of those who reduce.” 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 and diminish not the goods of the people, and do not mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 Fear Him who created you and those who have gone before you." 184 They said: thou art but of the bewitched; 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
