The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
