And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Fir'awn; verily he was haughty and of the extravagant. 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 And We vouchsafed unto them signs wherein was a manifest favour. 33 As to these (Quraish), they say forsooth: 34 "There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected. 35 Bring back to us our fathers if you are truthful.” 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba, and those who had lived before them, whom We destroyed as they were sinners? 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We did not create them save with a purpose, yet most people have no knowledge of this. 39 Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allah will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them, 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Apart from those to whom God is kind. He is all-mighty and all-merciful. 42
