Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
