3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer. 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Is it a falsehood-god beside Allah that ye desire? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
