When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 And when the twain had passed by, he said unto his page: bring us our morning-meal, assuredly we have met from this journey of ours, toil 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
