The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 You will become three categories: 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And fruit of what they select 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water gushing, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 for the people of the right hand 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
