Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
