With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). 60
