The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
