We have created the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay 26 and the jinn created We before of fire flaming. 27 When your Lord said to the angels: 'See, I am creating a mortal from clay of molded mud. 28 “Therefore when I have properly fashioned him and breathed into him a chosen noble soul from Myself, fall down before him in prostration.” 29 So the angels made obeisance, all of them together, 30 But Iblis did not; he refused to be with the prostrates. 31 Said He, 'What ails thee, Iblis, that thou art not among those bowing?' 32 [Iblis] replied: "It is not for me to prostrate myself before mortal man whom Thou hast created out of sounding clay, out of dark slime transmuted!" 33 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 34 and there shall be a curse upon you till the Day of Recompense." 35 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 36 He said: So surely you are of the respited ones 37 Until the Day of the time well-known." 38 He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all: 39 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 40 He (Allah) said: 'This is for Me the Right Path 41 verily, thou shalt have no power over My creatures - unless it be such as are [already] lost in grievous error and follow thee [of their own will]: 42 being perverse; Gehenna shall be their promised land all together. 43 "It (Hell) has seven gates, for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. 44

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
