The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
