The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
