The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
