▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
