And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
