Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 a warning to humankind, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.
