NAY, but consider the moon! 32 By the receding night 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 a warning to humans, 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until death approached us". 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
