What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
