So when the apostles came to Lut's followers, 61 He said: "Verily! You are people unknown to me." 62 They said, 'Nay, but we have brought thee that concerning which they were doubting. 63 We truly tell you that we have brought to you the Truth. 64 So set forth, thou with thy family, in a watch of the night, and follow after the backs of them, and let not any one of you turn round; and depart unto the place you are commanded.' 65 And We communicated to him the decree that by the morning those people will be totally destroyed. 66 In the meantime the people of the city came to Lot rejoicing. 67 He said: "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 Fear Allah and do not disgrace me' 69 They said: forbade we not thee against the worlds? 70 He said, "Here are my daughters, if you must act in this way." 71 By your life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement. 72 Then the shout took hold of them at the sunrise. 73 And We made the upside there of downwards, and We rained on them stones of baked clay. 74 Surely, in that there are signs for those who contemplate. 75 And lo! it is upon a road still uneffaced. 76 surely in that is a sign for believers. 77 The dwellers of the Wood (near Midian) were also wicked. 78 So we took vengeance on them; and lo! they both are on a high-road plain to see. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
