We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
