The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
