Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
