Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
