[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 And loose a knot from my tongue, 27 That they may understand my speech, 28 Appoint for me of my folk a familiar, 29 Aaron my brother 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 "And make him share my task: 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 He it is Who spread the earth for you; and made in it paths for you, and sent down water from the sky, and then through it We brought forth many species of diverse plants. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
