Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are opened for them, 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ and wherein there shall be with them well-matched, bashful mates. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 All this; but for the insolent awaits an ill resort, 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 And other similar torments. 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
