But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 "And they have devised a tremendous Plot. 22 and have said, "Do not leave your gods, and do not leave Wadd, nor Suwa', Yaghuth, Ya'uq, neither Nasr." 23 And they have led many astray. (Noah supplicated saying): 'Allah, do not increase the harmdoers except in error' 24 And so, because of their sins, they were drowned [in the great flood,] and were doomed to suffer the fire [of the hereafter]; and they found none who could succour them against God. 25 And Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! 26 Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. 27 Lord, forgive me, my parents, the believers who have entered my home and all believing men and women. Give nothing to the unjust but destruction. 28
