The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
