Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 With spreading branches. 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
