We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
