The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 [But,] verily, thou canst not make the dead hear: and [so, too,] thou canst not make the deaf [of heart] hear this call when they turn their backs [on thee] and go away, 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
