The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
