▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
