The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Successful indeed are the believers. 1 Those who in their prayer are lowly. 2 And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). 3 Who are active in deeds of charity; 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 (but whosoever seeks after more than that, those are the transgressors) 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 And who (strictly) guard their prayers;- 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever. 11 We have created the human being from an extract of clay 12 which was then turned into a living germ and placed in safe depository. 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 and then on the Day of Resurrection you shall certainly be raised up. 16 And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation. 17 We sent down water from the sky in right measure, and caused it to stay in the earth, and We have the power to cause it to vanish (in the manner We please). 18 We have produced palm-groves and vineyards for you, in which there are abundant fruits for you; and you eat these, 19 We have also created for you the tree that grows on Mount Sinai which produces oil and relish for those who use it. 20 And surely in the cattle there is a lesson for you; We give you to drink of what is in their bellies, and many uses there are in them for you, and of them you eat; 21 and upon them, and on the ships, you are borne. 22
