The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ The believers must (eventually) win through,- 1 who are submissive to God in their prayers, 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 And who are payers of the poor-due; 4 And those who of their private parts are guards. 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 (but whosoever seeks after more than that, those are the transgressors) 7 And those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant, 8 And they who carefully maintain their prayers - 9 These are the real gainers, 10 Who will inherit paradise. There they will abide. 11 Indeed We created man from a chosen soil. 12 then We made him, a drop, in a secure receptacle (the womb). 13 Then We fashioned the sperm into an embryo, then fashioned the embryo into a shapeless lump of flesh; then from the lump of flesh We fashioned bones, then clothed the bones with flesh. Thus We formed him into a new creation. So blessed be God the best of Creators. 14 Thereafter you are destined to die, 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 We have created seven ways above you; of Our creation, We are never inattentive. 17 We sent down water from the sky in due measure, and lodged it in the earth, and We are able to take it all away. 18 Then We cause to grow thereby gardens of palm trees and grapes for you; you have in them many fruits and from them do you eat; 19 And a tree that grows out of Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat. 20 In the cattle, too, is a lesson for you. We let you drink of that which is in their bellies, and there are many benefits in them for you, and you eat of them, 21 and by them - as by the ships [over the sea] - you are borne [overland]. 22
