Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify God. He is Majestic and All-wise. 1 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He gives life, and He makes to die, and He is powerful over everything. 2 He is the First, the Last, the Manifest, and the Unseen and He knows all things. 3 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself on the Throne. He knows all that enters the earth and all that comes forth from it, and all that comes down from the heaven and all that goes up to it. He is with you wherever you are. Allah sees all that you do. 4 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision). 5 He turns night into day, and turns day into night; and He knows whatsoever is in your hearts. 6 Believe in Allah and in His Messenger and expend of what He has entrusted to you. A great reward awaits those of you who believe and spend their wealth. 7 And why do you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers? 8 It is He who sends down clear verses to His worshiper, so that He brings you out of the darkness into the light. Indeed, Allah is the Gentle, the Most Merciful to you. 9 And what reason have you that you should not spend in Allah's way? And Allah's is the inheritance of the heavens and the earth, not alike among you are those who spent before the victory and fought (and those who did not): they are more exalted in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards; and Allah has promised good to all; and Allah is Aware of what you do. 10
