And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
