۞ God says, "Do not take two gods. He is only One God. So fear Me alone." 51 And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear? 52 And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help. 53 yet no sooner does He relieve your distress than some among you set up other partners besides their Lord, 54 So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know 55 And for things unknown, they assign a portion of the sustenance We have given them; by Allah – you will certainly be questioned regarding all that you used to fabricate. 56 They assign daughters to Allah - glory be to Him - whereas they assign to themselves what they truly desire! 57 When any of them is told about the birth of a female his face turns dark, and he is filled with suppressed anger, 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision. 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter deserve to be characterized with evil attributes whereas Allah's are the most excellent attributes. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 60
