The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
CONSIDER the sun and its radiant brightness, 1 by the moon when it follows the sun, 2 And the day when it shows it, 3 By the night when it envelopeth it, 4 Consider the sky and its wondrous make, 5 by the earth and that (Power) which spread it out 6 and by the soul and that (Power) which designed it 7 and inspired it to lewdness and godfearing! 8 Surely blissful is he who hath cleansed it, 9 and he who corrupts it is sure to fail. 10 In their presumptuous insolence the Thamud called the Truth a lie 11 when that most hapless wretch from among them rushed forward [to commit his evil deed,] 12 And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink." 13 However, they rejected him and slew her. So their Lord completely destroyed them and their city for their sins. 14 And He feared not the consequence thereof 15
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
