۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
