The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
