In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This is The Book free of doubt and involution, a guidance for those who preserve themselves from evil and follow the straight path, 2 Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, 3 who believe in what has been sent down to thee and what has been sent down before thee, and have faith in the Hereafter; 4 they are the people who are rightly following their Lord and it is they who shall be successful. 5 Those who disbelieve, whether you forewarn them or not, they will not believe. 6 Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom. 7
