The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 By the Promised Day! 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
