T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Ha. 1 We did not bestow the Qur'an on thee from on high to make thee unhappy, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 it is a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens, 4 The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 Has the story of Moses come to you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he came close to it, a voice called out, "Moses, 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish. 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 So he cast it down; and lo! it was a serpent running. 20 Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, 21 "Now place thy hand within thy armpit: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish, as another sign [of Our grace,] 22 That We may go on showing you Our greater signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
