We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
