۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
