The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
